Value Education

The value education course strengthens the moral sense and raises value consciousness. Value Education classes are held in the first period on every Friday. Thought for the day and meditation is done every day before class.

Christian Formation Programme

Bible Classes are held for all the Christian Students on every Friday.

Orientation Programme

An Orientation Programme for the newly admitted students is held at the beginning of the academic session.

Counseling Cell

The College offers regular counseling/career counseling medical counseling for students Students who have difficulties in learning, emotional needs, career related queries and health problem can make use of this facility.

Placement Cell

The Training & Placement cell provides regular career guidance, training & placement opportunities to all final year students of the college.

Parent Teacher Association

The St. Aloysius’ College Parent Teacher Association (PTA) was established on
16th November 2002. The objective of forming the PTA was to have a collaboration of Parents and Teachers for the betterment of the students. To explore Parents expertise in various fields by the Institution.

Sports & Games

True education is one that educates the body, mind and spirit. In order to develop a balanced personality, the Department of Physical Education conducts Intramural sports activities for students.

Competitions

For the enhancement, overall development and character formation of the students, the college organizes various competitions such as Elocution (Hindi & English). Extempore, Group Discussion, Debate, Essay, Creative Writing. General Knowledge, Quiz, Poster, Painting. Collage, Rangoli, Flower Arrangement. Skit, Mime, Patriotic Group Song. Singing (Indian & Western) and Dance.

Alumni Association

The St. Aloysius College Alumni Association was established on 5th May 2001 with the aim of providing a common platform for the ex-students to meet regularly, exchange views and remain in touch with one another. The Association also aims at secking the earnest cooperation of ex-students in the establishment of scholarships and endowment funds for meritorious and needy students. The members also organise guest lectures, Input sessions and work towards providing placement facilities.

Grievance Redressal Cell

The Grievance Redressal Cell will look into matters regarding the functioning of the college the academic and extra curricular activities. Any suggestion  regarding the same may be put in the suggestion box or students may appeal to the cell.

Anti - Ragging

Ragging in all its forms is totally banned in this institution The Institute shall take strict action including criminal proceeding and cancellation of admission against those found guilty of ragging and/or of abetting ragging and the burden of proof shall hereby lie on the perpetrator of the alleged ragging and not on the victim. “An offence of Ragging may be charged either on a written complaint by the affected or on Independent finding of the UGC Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions 2009.
