\nimprovement.”<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The women\u2019s cell organization of St. Aloysius College was established in the year 1997 under the leadership of Dr. Anjali D\u2019Souza and works with the motto \u201cDuty makes us do things well but love makes us do them beautifully.\u201d Since then its members have generously extended their helping hand to assist the poor and needy.In the year 2010 Dr. Mandira Kar had taken over the responsibility of the cell. In the year 2018 Dr. Sutapa Roy took up the responsibility of the cell. In the year 2020 Dr. Anthonima <\/span>Kenneth Robin took up this responsibility, who is the present In-charge of the Women Cell. All the Faculty and student members work for the cause of Women empowerment.<\/span><\/span>
\nThe success of the Women cell is due to the hard work and perseverance of every member of the cell. The Women cell is grateful for the valuable guidance, encouragement and support extended by our Principal Rev. Dr. J. Ben Anton Rose\u00a0 and former Principal Dr. Fr. G.   • To build a society with social and economic gender equality as envisaged in the Indian Constitution through social service.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • To reach out to Women in rural areas and make them aware of their social and legal rights and to equip them to stand against gender violence and<\/span>

  • To create awareness, instill values, and develop the personality and leadership qualities in the members.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • Arranging lectures of highly qualified and successful women.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Providing basic amenities for hygiene (soaps, hand towels etc), education (copies, pen, pencil etc), old clothes, bread, milk powder etc to the needy.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Conducting workshops and training sessions focused on gender sensitization, equality, and empowerment.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
