The main objective of this society is to improve the lives of vulnerable people by mobilizing the power of humanity. College conducted blood donation camp on 19<sup>th<\/sup> Sept 2024 at Prerna auditorium for students and faculty. Over all 207 units of blood were collected. The technical staff of the blood bank units of Rani Lady Elgen Durgawati Hospital, Shaskiya Seth Govindas Zila Hospital as well as by Indian Red Cross society and Jabalpur was present for collecting blood. Overall 119 units of blood were collected. This camp was a great success with a huge number of blood donors who donated blood for a noble social service. Both teachers and students enthusiastically participated in this Blood Donation Camp. Donors were given certificate for their contribution and initiative, by both the Blood Bank Organisations The Principal Rev. Dr. G. Vazhan Arasu, Vice Principals Rev. Fr. Mary\u00a0 Raymer,\u00a0 Red\u00a0 Cross\u00a0 Society\u00a0 In\u00a0 charge\u00a0 Mr.\u00a0 Prakash\u00a0 Lange\u00a0 were\u00a0 present\u00a0 to encourage this Social Service activity.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20240312121414im_\/http:\/\/staloysiuscollege.ac.in\/new\/images\/r3.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>Workshop on \u2018a life saving measure with Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)\u2019<\/p>\n<p>The Red Cross Society of St. Aloysius College has organized a workshop on \u201cHow to save a life with Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)?\u201d with the collaboration of Suvidha Hospital, Jabalpur M.P. on 22\/01\/2018 in the \u2018Prerna\u2019 hall of the college. In this seminar Dr. Balkrishan Dang and team of Suvidha Hospital have explained and demonstrated CPR process to the students. After the explanation, they distribute some first aid medicine among the students. The technical staff of the blood bank units of Rani Durgawati Hospital and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College, Jabalpur was present for collecting blood. Overall 258 units of blood were collected. This camp was a great success with a huge number of blood donors who donated blood for a noble social service. Both teachers and students enthusiastically participated in this Blood Donation Camp.
