The day started with the inaugural session followed by aguestlecture by Prof. D.S. Negi, Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University followedwith presentations by students of St. AloysiusCollege (Autonomous). Post lunch sessionbegan with a guest lecture by Dr. Mandira Kar Head, Department of Mathematics St.Aloysius College (Autonomous) Jabalpur on \u2018Interesting Mathematical Models in Real World Perspective\u2019followed with student presentations by Patna Women\u2019s College Patna.Twenty-three students presented their work and were judged by the faculty of both institutions. The event ended with the Valedictory function wherein thewinners of the \u2018StudentPresentation\u2019 competition were declared.145 participants faculty, teachers &amp; professional benefitted from this National webinar<\/li>\n<li>The students &amp; faculty of the Department of Mathematics St. Aloysius College (Autonomous) Jabalpur celebrated the National Mathematics Day with great zeal &amp;enthusiasm. The winners of the Power Point competition held earlier on \u2018Legacy of Indian Mathematics and Latest Trends in Mathematics\u2019 were declared. A National Webinar \u2018History &amp; Recent Trends of Mathematics\u2019 was also organized in collaboration with Patna Women\u2019s College, Patna to mark the auspicious day on 22<sup>nd<\/sup>\u00a0December\u00a0 2022<\/li>\n<li>Seven-days National Workshop on \u2018Analytical Techniques\u2019 from 21st to 27th November, 2022. funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) under the Synergetic Training Program Utilising the Scientific and Technological Infrastructure (STUTI) scheme in collaboration with IIT Gandhinagar.<\/li>\n<li>A workshop on Editing and Proofreading Strategies on 4th February\u20192023 was organised by the Department of English, St. Aloysius\u2019 College (Autonomous), Jabalpur M.P.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cGlobal Understanding Project\u201d under Global Education Program on the theme of Culture and Language from 3-11 March 2023.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in English \u2013 LSRW course from 23 January- 9 February 2023.<\/li>\n<li>The Department organised\u00a0an Online National Seminar on 3-4 September 2022 on \u201cA Tribute to Khushwant Singh: A Writer of Protean Sensibilities\u201d. Dr. Neelanjana Pathak, was the Coordinator and Dr. Niharika Singh was the Convenor of the seminar.<\/li>\n<li>The Department organized two days National Seminar Bhartiyata ke Sajag Prahri Seth Govind Das held in 28-29 June 2022.<\/li>\n<li>The Department organized two days National Seminar\u00a0\u201cKavya Rishi Dwaya Pradeep Aur Neeraj ki Rachnao mein Rashtravad Evam Samajik Sarokar\u201d held in 17-18 March 2023.<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The Department of Economics has organized a Workshop on \u2018Advertisement and Sales Promotion\u2019 on 14<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0September 2024. The session was addressed by Mr. Suresh Asawa, Director, S.S. Advertising Pvt. Ltd. \u00a0The workshop focused on various strategies of marketing and marketing tools. The resource person pointed out various ways to attract targeted customers. The session was enriched by the real-life examples of Marketing and sales promotion. At the end of the session there was a fruitful interaction with the students. The workshop was funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) under the Synergetic Training Program Utilising the Scientific and Technological Infrastructure (STUTI) scheme in collaboration with IIT Gandhinagar. Applicants from all over India including students and faculty from various disciplines of Life Sciences participated in the workshop.\u00a0This workshop aimed to provide an insight into the basic principles and advanced usage of different equipment based on analytical techniques such as AFM, Reflectometer, Flame photometer, Air Sampler, Fluorescence microscope and FTIR.
