The library is the heart of the institute. Studying, learning, exploration and discovery all happens under this one big roof. Libraries serve as centers of interdisciplinary-places shared by learners from all disciplines. They also give users the opportunity to learn and continue learning throughout their lives.
The college library is an essential part of the academic environment, serving as a hub for learning, research, and personal development. It is designed to provide students, faculty, and staff with access to a wealth of resources. St. Aloysius College has an extensive library and a reading room for reference and study. There is a large collection of books and periodicals not only related to specific subjects but also the other disciplines to keep the students continuously updated about the world around. The College Library is fully automated and followed the open access system. The Library has equipped with lease line internet facility. A photocopy machine is available for reprography needs. The St Aloysius College Library is equipped with:-
- Books and Journals: A wide range of textbooks, reference books, academic journals, and magazines across various disciplines.
- Digital Resources: Access to e-books, online journals, databases and digital archives for research and study.
- Digital Library: The College maintains a separate local server for Digital Library which enables the students to access Digital Library using Intranet, as well as Internet.
- Plagiarism software (Drillbit) to promote the research activity.
- Study Spaces: Separate reading room, reading area in the library and digital library to cater to individual and collaborative learning needs.
- OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog): Allows users to search and reserve books online. OPAC provides a user-friendly interface for accessing library database.
