Library Initiative: Best Library User Award:-
The Best Library User Award, introduced in the academic year 2023-24, recognizes outstanding library engagement among students and faculty each semester. One undergraduate student from each stream, one postgraduate student, and one faculty member are selected.
Selection Process:
- Frequent library usage: Regularly visiting the library for study, research, or reading.
- Responsible borrowing: Consistently returning books on time and respecting library policies.
- Utilizing resources effectively: Using both physical and digital resources efficiently, including books, journals, and online databases.
- Promoting library services: Helping other students discover and utilize library services, such as workshops, reading programs, and research assistance.
- Participation in library events: Engaging in library-sponsored activities.
- Overall conduct: Following library rules and maintaining a positive atmosphere in the library. Final selection is approved by the Library Advisory Committee.
This award encourages students to take full advantage of the educational resources available and promotes a positive relationship between students and the library staff.
