Guidelines for the Students:-
- Students get books issued against their I-card.
- I-cards are not to be lent or exchanged.
- Students are expected to sign in the library register upon entering the library area.
- Books from the College Library are issued to the students on days assigned for different classes.
- Two books are issued at a time for a period of 15 days. Books may be reissued for another 15 days provided they are available.
- Failure to return a book on expiry of due date will involve the payment of a fine of Rs. 1/- per day per book.
- Reference books are not to be issued from the library. Students can read them in the library itself and get the material photocopied if required in the Library itself.
- Students are not allowed to borrow books on behalf of others or transfer borrowed materials to other students.
- No material from the library should be taken out without proper issuing.
- Books in damaged conditions will not be accepted from the borrowers. Mutilated, lost, or spoiled books may have to be replaced or will be charged by the borrower.
- At the time of getting library clearance, the students are required to bring their Identity – Card.
- Readers should not mark, underline, write, tear pages, or damage the resources of library in any way. If anyone is found doing so, he will be charged the full replacement cost of the resource.
- Journals and magazines are to be read in reading room.
- Students must maintain silence and discipline in the library.
- Library staff is available for any assistance you may need in using library resources, facilities & services.
Book Bank Facility
- Book Bank facility is available only to ST/SC and under privileged students.
- Students who avail of the Book Bank facility must return the books immediately after the exams, failing which they will have to pay a fine of Rs.1.00 per day.
- This facility is provided to all the students of Arts, Science, Education, Commerce and Management.
- The college maintains a separate local server for Digital Library which enables the students to access Digital Library using Intranet, as well as Internet.
