ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
A two day workshop on “Fourier Transform
Infrared Spectroscopy: Scientific and Societal
Applications (FTIR: SSA 2019)” is organized with
the aim of acquainting the students and practicing
researchers in experimental science about the
potential of FTIR spectroscopy, both in theory and
practice, in solving day-to-day problems as are
witnessed frequently in laboratory or in daily life.
The Workshop offers a succinct but comprehensive
account on the underlying principle of the
technique, and its application in diverse areas of
scientific and societal implications. The subject
matter will be presented by friendly scientific
deliberations, and by vivid and interactive
demonstrations by experts in the field.

WHO CAN ATTEND
Research scholars and postgraduate students in any
discipline of science from colleges and university.
Since the topic is highly specialized, a limited
number of participants (maximum 40) would be
entertained. The prospective applicants shall be
notified.
