• Diploma in Computer Application

This year Department of Computer Science start new short term course DCA (Diploma in Computer Application). It is one year program and divided into two semesters with different computer subjects for current industry requirements with hands-on practical knowledge. In this year 39 students registered with different stream. Madam SK Walia in charge of DCA course and take care by Amit Kumar Yadav.

• 5 Days IoT Workshop 2023

With the objective of making students familiar with the latest technology trends the Department of Computer Science Organized a 5 days Workshop on IoT for Undergraduate Students of the Department . The Guest Instructor was Mr. Vivek Singh, Director, Eagle Foundation Logical Lab Private Limited, Jabalpur. Students were made aware of the concept of IoT Technology and hands-on training was also provided using the D1R1 Board. It was a great learning experience for students.  Date: 3rd,4th,7th,9th and 10th of January 2023.

• MERAKI 2023

The Department of Management & The Department of Computer Science organized THE ANNUAL KNOWLEDGE FEST “MERAKI 2023″ on Saturday, 21^st January 2023, there  was around 150 students from 9 schools and 300 students from college participated in various activities like Quizzard, Advertify, Inspirobics, Go Prism, Color Rush, Snap My Life, Food Swings, Scene Dreams, It’s Debatable, Sales Push, Samvad, Pens Worthy and From The Attic. The students’ committee of both departments managed the event and was in charge of the academic activities.

• The Department of Computer Science and Applications organized an activity Power Point Presentation on the topic “Online Education” for B.Com. II Year Computer Application Students on 06-08-22. In which 15 students participated and the students made  creative presentations which was very much  appreciated by the judges.Winners of the event were 1. Shubham Patel  2. Varun Datt Vyas and 3. Shreyans Pandey. Event incharges was Ms.Arifa Anjum.

   

• Skill Enhancement Program August 2022

Department of Computer Science organized a 5 days free online Skill Enhancement Program for School and college students about ‘Hands on Python’ from 22^nd August to 26^th August 2022. The aim of this program was to make students familiar with the most market demanding programming language. They learnt about how work on Python and its future perspective. Students were enlighten by the knowledge by Ms Poorvi Gupta, Technology Analyst at Infosys and by Mr. Ankur Srivastava, Web Developer and Robotics expert at Redevelopers Automate solution Pvt. Ltd. Students were also engaging and had looked interested in the session. This program was conducted under the invigilation of Ms. Mala Das. 60 students registered for this program Around 55 – 40 students joined the class daily with curiosity of learn about the fun language Python. Many students raised quarries while learning and actively participated in the classes making it interactive and fun class. 5 days of classes leaded students to knowing some basics of Python and igniting the fire for coding inside students. The teachers were well skilled and very friendly. The teachers also made students familiar with about the jobs and the future of a coder. Telling of the streams as there were many students from class 12th and 1st year students.

Feedbacks were received by the participants and the feedbacks were just amazing which encouraged us to organize more such events. The program concluded by helped students marking there milestones as told by the teachers who are previously in the market and purse what the students were going to pursue. Overall the program was very enlightening for us and students enjoyed and asked for more classes for more knowledge and skill in Python.

       

• The department of Computer Science and Application organised a Guest lecture on Recent trends in Computer Science and Job Opportunities on 06 August 2022. Students of BCA II Year, B.Sc. III Year and B.Com III Year attended it. Speaker: Mr. Chandra Shekhar Shukla, Director, Rostris Infotech.

   

• The Department of Computer Science under the banner of Computer Forum organized the activity “Debug the Code” for BCA II Year on 30-07-22. Winners of the event were 1. Gyanesh Vishwakarma and 2. Pawani Mishra. Event incharges were Mrs. Khushbu Gupta and Mrs. Saroj Junghare.
