- Research Based Societal Projects and Internships
To Promote Research Based Learning and generate curiosity for Chemistry and Allied Subject Research Based Societal Projects and Internships are conducted for UG and PG. Students are also sent for Internship at Government and Non-Government Institutes.
- Training Program – Skill Development through Training Programs for making sanitizer Herbal Lipstick, Floor Cleaner, Candle Making, Moisturizer, Liquid Shop, Soap Bar, Hair Serum, and others.
- Industrial Visit: To bridge the gap between Industry and Academia Regular Industrial Visits are organized.
- Departmental News Letter (Disha):Under the editorship of students a departmental newsletter “Disha” is published quarterly on the development related to the field of science especially Chemistry.
- Rasayanika:It is a departmental activity to tap the hidden talents of our students. This annual activity provides a platform to our students to showcase their talents under various heads. Different activities such as Debates, Antakshari, Quiz competition, Poster, Slogan Writing, Imagery writing to enhance their oratory skills, perception, analytical skills, boost their confidence and also teaches them event and financial management skills.
- Guest Lecture & Chemistry Seminars:To enhance the knowledge of Chemistry among the PG students guest lectures and PG and UG seminars are organized which gives them an opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge.
- Extension and Outreach Activity:To develop a caring attitude towards the emotional and material needs of the underprivileged and disadvantaged section of the society and also to spread the importance of Chemistry we have been organizing:

- 2018: DST WOS-A sanctioned a project entitled “Fourier transforms infrared spectroscopy as non-destructive and radip method for residual emerging contaminants in treated water”.
- 2014: A Minor Research Project sanctioned by U.G.C entitled “Designing of Iron oxide containing Super Paramagnetic starch Nanoparticles and Evaluation of Magnetically Guided Release Behaviour of some Anti-tumour drug”.
