1. To spark interest in physics and related areas, department organize educational visit for students at different schools, ATC dumna Airodrum Jabalpur, India Meteorology lab, Light guide optics Pvt. Ltd Indore., S.Unitek IT Park, Sri Pat baba Solar power house , GCF Factory, Aditi Transformer, Regionsl Science Center, Bhopal, IEHE Bhopal, IISER Bhopal, IIITDM Jabalpur etc.
2. The Department is the only center in Jabalpur for National Graduate Physics Examination conducted by Indian Association of Physics Teachers.
3. The department assists in the Conduction of the National Graduate Physics Examination organized by the Indian Association of Physics Teachers. This examination is non- remunerative and is conducted to promote and improve the level of understanding of Physics amongst college students.
4. Department has conducted a three day Symposium on “RECENT DEVELOPMENTS IN MATERIAL SCIENCE” under the sponsorship of UGC, India.

5. Department has conducted a two day symposium on “PHYSICS TODAY:
6. CONTEMPORARY RESEARCH, IDEAS & INNOVATIVE TEACHING METHODS” under the sponsorship of IAPT& UGC, India.
